Donovan Mitchell Snaps Against Pelicans for 41 Points

Gordon Hayward may be out, but there’s a new kid in town and he’s taking over. Rookie Donovan Mitchell has been impressing for the Utah Jazz, with today being a complete blackout. Against the New Orleans Pelicans, Mitchell put up 41 points, to go along with his 4 assists and 4 rebounds.

From the jump he was going off and the Jazz kept feeding him the ball. He kept putting through the net. From 3-point range or straight to the hoop.

He was even giving DeMarcus Cousins that work in the paint.

That 41-point effort by Mitchell is the most in franchise history by a rookie. So tonight’s performance put him in the Jazz history books.

FINAL: UTAH 114 | NO 108
