Donovan Mitchell Wins 2018 NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest

We’re just going to say it, off top: This year’s Slam Dunk contest wasn’t anything crazy. There were some unique dunks from the likes of Larry Nance Jr. and Dennis Smith Jr., but they didn’t ‘WOW’ the crowd as much as you would think.

Even with those two pulling off some underrated jams, it was Donovan Mitchell who took the trophy home.

He wore the throwback Utah Jazz uniforms, jumped over Kevin Hart and even put on the OG Vince Carter uniform to get some extra points from the crowd. His last dunk was paying homage to Carter, as he completed the 360 windmill and take home the crown for the first time.

If you missed part of the slam dunk contest or a good portion of it, check out the best dunks from the night from some of the contestants.
