The Golden State Warriors are here for the long run. Not only have they paid Klay Thompson and Steph Curry for the future but now they have locked in an integral piece to their championship squad.
Draymond Green has now signed a 4-year, $100 million dollar deal with the franchise, making his total deal worth $118M over five years. With free agency looming next season, the organization is making sure they don’t lose another key piece to their roster by giving Draymond the bag.

Green’s extension pays him $22.2M, $24M, $25.8M and $27.6M over the course of the deal. The Warriors will have $129M and $138M committed to their four max players — Curry, Thompson, Green and Russell — in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons, respectively.

This now secures the services of Draymond and the Splash Brothers as a foundation to continue building around, in order to continue contending in the Western Conference.
