Draymond Green & Tristan Thompson Were Involved in Altercation in L.A.

The Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers don’t like each other and it’s safe to say Draymond Green is not the most liked player on Dub Nation.

He’s talked shit so many times, he’s probably gained a whole team of haters in the league and Tristan Thompson is one that is not on his side. As we all know, after the last title, Green threw some shots towards Tristan way. Not to mention their short little scuffle during the NBA Finals.

Remember that “we’re not cut from the same cloth” comment during the parade?

Apparently, the two got into an altercation in Los Angeles during an ESPY’s party, when Draymond went to squash the beef. He did so twice, but apparently Tristan wasn’t having any of it and caught him with the fade.

Players like Kevin Durant and Lebron James stepped in to break it up.

It’s safe to say the problems have gone from on-the-court to off wax and it’ll be interesting to see what happens next season when the two play against each other.

UPDATE: More details have been revealed about the fight in Los Angeles. Per The Athletic, Draymond’s face was “mushed” during the scuffle and there were a number of taunts (ie. Khloe Kardashian, etc.) prior to Tristan putting hands on him.

There is a parade to be held for Thompson in Cleveland outside of Quicken Loans Arena on October 13 at 3:10pm EST. The date is significant, considering the 13th in the date for Tristan’s jersey number and the time is a tribute to the 3-1 NBA Finals that the Cavs overcame in 2016.
