Eric Gordon Hits Game-Winning Buzzer Beater Against 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers had this game in the bag. They were up as much as 11 down the stretch, but made some bad plays to give the Houston Rockets life and let the creep back up. Enough that they got the last shot to win the game.

Off an in-bounds, James Harden got the rock at the top of the key and drew the double team. He created just enough space for Joel Embiid to pull away from Eric Gordon in the corner and threw him the pass. Gordon fired off the three and hit it at the buzzer with Embiid in his face. He gave him the step back and faked him out, but it was just enough to get the shot off.

The Rockets were down two and that three gave them the win.

Gordon finished the game with 29 points for the Rockets, while Harden dropped 27 points and dished out 13 assists for the game. Clint Capela also added 16 points of his own and a monster 20 rebounds on the night.

On the other side of the ball, Embiid ended the game with 21 points and 6 rebounds, J.J. Redick scored 22 points and Robert Covington had 20 for the Sixers.

FINAL: HOU 105 | PHI 104
