ESPN, Fox, CBS Networks Bidding For NFL Thursday Night Games

The NFL is a money train that keeps rolling along and doesn’t look to be slowing up anytime soon. In a recent Yahoo report, sources claim that the NFL has begun the bidding process for it’s Thursday Night Football broadcast; with ESPN, Fox & CBS all placing bids so far. According to the report, the NFL Network wouldn’t lose their airing of the Thursday night games, but there would instead be two games airing simultaneously.

What does that mean for us? More NLF football during the week! As of right now, the bids are in for a 8-game schedule over the season and NBC is expected to join the bidding war before Friday’s deadline. For the casuals out there, fan the preference of which network receives Thursday games really comes down to what announcing crew you prefer.
