There’s no denying the fact that both Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott made a huge difference in this year’s season for the Dallas Cowboys. Not even Jerry Jones predicted the fact that two rookies would take them to the first place in the NFC and/or playoffs.
When NFL Honors came out a few days ago, Prescott ended up winning Offensive Rookie of the Year in the NFC and Elliott only got Ground Player of the Year.
Some argued all year that Ezekiel was the Cowboys best player and should be considered for both MVP and Rookie of the Year honors. He actually finished third in MVP voting, yet lost the award to his teammate Dak, though he was considered a more valuable piece.
Skip Bayless, Shannon Sharpe and Nelly argued the question on UNDISPUTED earlier, with Skip saying Dak was the real MVP and Nelly saying without the running back or offensive line, Dak wouldn’t have excelled as much.
