Floyd Mayweather Expected to Bail Suge Knight Out of Jail after Manny Pacquiao Fight

Floyd Mayweather to post $10 million bail for Suge Knight next week

Earlier today, Suge Knight officially pleaded not guilty to murder before his July 7th trail begins. The former founder of Death Row Records is facing life in prison if convicted and initially had bail set at $25 million. Following a much-needed bail reduction to $10 million two weeks ago, this promoted long-time friend Floyd Mayweather to map out a plan to get his brother from behind the g-wall and enjoy time before the summer trail. After a follow-up arraignment this week, Knight’s lawyer Matthew Fletcher revealed Mayweather would cover the $10 million bail, following his mega fight this weekend against Manny Pacquiao in Las Vegas.

Now entering the fourth month of his jail sentence, the 50-year-old Knight is claiming he was attacked in an alleged set-up nearby the production site for N.W.A.’s upcoming biopic, Straight Outta Compton. After surveillance footage showed Knight escaping the fight, where the Los Angeles mogul left the incident running over local businessman, Terry Carter; Suge’s defense team feels confident after prosecutors stumbled during preliminary hearings with failing to identify him as the diver after Cle Sloan’s testimony.

The Compton entrepreneur could be out of jail as early as this weekend, following the fight in 48 hours.
