Harrison Barnes Got Traded In the Middle of Mavs Game Against Hornets

The trade deadline has taken over sports this past week and some moves have been shaking up the NBA. One of the more wild scenarios involved Harrison Barnes and it wasn’t because it was blockbuster trade or anything.

The craziest part about Barnes getting traded was the fact that he was still playing the game when he found out he had been dealt. In the 4th quarter, HB was informed that he was traded to the Sacramento Kings and sat on the bench to watch his former team play against the Charlotte Hornets.

As part of the deal, Zach Randolph and Justin Jackson are headed to the Dallas Mavericks, while Barnes is headed to the Sacramento Kings.

Though Harrison knew something was in the works before the game, per his agent, news of the trade broke early. Official news was released after the game. Regardless, it’s not often somebody is moved mid-game.

Cold world.
