Houston Rockets Shopping Clint Capela to East Teams for Trade

The NBA trade deadline is only a few days away, and while things have been quiet for some teams, others are trying to make moves to position themselves into a playoff spot and/or a championship. The Houston Rockets are always wheeling and dealing and one of their players may be on their way out.

In an attempt to acquire a wing player and possibly another center, the Rockets are in the market to move Clint Capela to an Eastern Conference team. They hope that with the move, they can gather draft assets to turn around and flip into a wing player and maybe even a center to help James Harden and Russell Westbrook in the postseason.

The Atlanta Hawks are very interested in the center, but John Collins is still there and the organization doesn’t know if they should part with him or pair the two together.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Rockets can make this move happen, considering the team is sitting fifth in the conference and can battle for a top spot in the West, but have been in a bit of a slump lately. Capela has always been in the midst of rumors, but it seems like this year, it has been picking up even more.
