Are the Atlanta Hawks trading away their whole team?
With Al Horford likely to part ways for for contender this summer, the Atlanta Hawks front office is wasting no time blowing up their main roster. Today, the team has traded away their starting point guard, Jeff Teague, to the Indiana Pacers, in a three-team deal with the Utah Jazz.
Teague, who is only owed $8 million for the final year of his 4-season contract, will be looking to quickly secure a long-term deal, alongside Pacers superstar Paul George this summer.
The Utah Jazz also traded away their 12th overall pick to the Hawks and acquired George Hill from Indiana. Paul Millsap, who’s due $41 million over the next two seasons, could also be dealt, alongside Kyle Korver; but look for more deals to surface leading up to tomorrow’s NBA Draft.
