J. Cole definitely made a splash recently when he released his The Off-Season album. But in the midst of that, he also joined the Basketball Africa League as a player for the Rwanda Patriots BBC.
Now that his stint for the team has ended, he is leaving due to family obligations.
His stat sheet didn’t wow anyone, but Cole World managed to put up 5 points, 3 assists and 5 rebounds in three games for the Patriots. Contractually, he was only supposed to play between three and six games with the squad.
Earlier this week, Morocco AS Sale guard Terrell Stoglin fired at Cole for saying his presence in the league was disrespectful to those who have worked hard their whole life to get to that point in their career.
