Ja Morant Declares For the 2019 NBA Draft

With the NCAA season over, there will be numerous names that throw their hat in the ring to declare for the NBA Draft. One of the bigger names undoubtedly will be Ja Morant, who announced today that he will forego his junior season at Murray State to become eligible for the NBA this summer.

For those who have been watching college basketball this season, Morant lit up the scene coming from a small school, but getting compared to people like Russell Westbrook because of his diversity with scoring and setting his teammates up.

Though he didn’t make it as far in the NCAA Tournament as you’d want, there is no denying the talent and some argue he is already a lock with the No. 2 pick.

Do you think he should be ahead of R.J Barrett in the draft order following Zion Williamson? Which team will benefit from picking him more?
