James Harden Drops 59 Points Against Wizards in Rockets Thriller

It was a regulation time thriller last night in the nation’s capital because not only were the Washington Nationals playing the Houston Astros playing for the World Series trophy last night, but coincidentally, the Houston Rockets were visiting the Washington Wizards in basketball.

The game was a pure show of offense, with James Harden and Russell Westbrook going up against Bradley Beal in the third highest scoring game in NBA history.

It was back and forth until the end, with Harden getting some key buckets, Russ getting some put-backs and Beal hitting clutch free throws to tie things up. Ultimately, it came down to a missed free throw that couldn’t translate to a shot for the Wizards when timed ran out.

At the end of the night, Harden finished with 59 points and 9 assists, Westbrook had a triple-double with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists and on the other side, Beal ended the game with 46 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds.

Talk about a monster night from both sides.
