James Harden Snaps For A Triple-Double Against Spurs

Tonight’s San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets game was the one to watch, especially by how James Harden has been playing. The man has been completely spazzing, going for over 30 points and 12 assists over the course of the first few games of the season. And guess what. He did it again against Coach Popovich and company.

Harden almost lost it for the Rockets in crunch time, but the team held on to the lead in the final seconds, when Kawhi Leonard missed a jumpshot to tie the game and send it to overtime and LaMarcus Aldridge missed the put-back.

James had 24 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds. He was distributing the rock to all of his teammates and seems to be flourishing under Mike D’Antoni. From lob passes, to no look dishes and drive-in and kick out plays, The Beard has found the zone.

For the Spurs, only Leonard showed out, scoring 34 points on the night. Aldridge was the second leading scorer for the squad, only dropping 14 points.

Both teams are now at 5-3 on the year.
