Jimmy Butler Ethers Marcus Smart after Altercation

Any threat to LeBron James is mysteriously getting hurt this month

Before Rajon Rondo injured his thumb, the Chicago Bulls were on the verge of upsetting the no. 1 seeded Boston Celtics. However, with Isaiah Thomas finding strength to play through a recent family tragedy, his team quickly won two games in Chicago over the weekend.

They soon surprisingly regained homecourt advantage for the opening round. However, midway through the second quarter, we got our first player altercation of the series, as Marcus Smart got into an exchange with Jimmy Butler. During a turnover and watching Isaiah Canaan score, Smart believed Butler fouled him – giving Jimmy a shove before coaches and teammates stepped in.

After the game was over, Butler briefly addressed the situation, saying “As far as the Marcus Smart situation goes, he’s a great actor, acting tough. It’s what he does. But I don’t think he’s about that.

I’m the wrong guy, to get in my face. No. So, he needs to take it somewhere else, because I’m not the one for that.” Jimmy went to say it’s the last time that it will happen, citing Smart is not about that life and needs to calm it down. Well, with the Celtics returning home to Boston for a pivotal game five Wednesday night, we’re sure the Bulls will be looking to spoil their plans of having game 7 insurance.

Most importantly, above all of this nonsense, Fred Hoiberg needs to have a plan of giving Michael Carter-Williams minutes. Take a look at the press video, where Butler calls out Smart.
