If you thought last year’s Minnesota Timberwolves team had the potential to make the playoffs, the expectations for them next season just went all the way up. The Wolves just added Jimmy Butler in the offseason, Taj Gibson, Jamal Crawford, Jeff Teague and they already have up and coming stars like Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins in the fold. If they don’t make the playoffs next year, it will be an extreme disappointment.
Visiting SC6, Butler talked about reuniting with Coach Tom Thibodeau, how he felt about leaving Chicago, exposing his phone number and talking to fans and how he’s preparing for next season.
It will be interesting to see what the T-Woves do on the court and they really have the potential to do some damage in the West, and Jimmy says he’s ready to lead the team to victory. Can they compete with the San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors or even the new-look Houston Rockets?
That’s the big question.
