Thibodeau finessed the fuck out of Chicago with that pick. . .
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Jimmy Butler was trying to work his way of Chicago, even reaching out to LeBron James and asking if he should pursue a move to Cleveland.
However, the King surprisingly told the star wing-player to not come to The Land, which led to the Minnesota Timberwolves aggressively completing a trade during tonight’s NBA Draft.
Butler now reunites with former head coach Tom Thibodeau and joins franchise players Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns. Unfortunately, the Wolves had to part ways with Zach LaVine, Kris Dunn and their 7th pick – sending away Jimmy and pick no. 16. Both former players of Minnesota are coming from major surgeries, which sadly is something Bulls fans are familiar with.
Let us know if you think this gives the Wolves to a playoff spot in 2018.
