Kawhi Leonard Makes his LA Clippers Preseason Debut

The NBA was turned upside down this past offseason, with Kawhi Leonard heading to Los Angeles to play for the Clippers as one of the biggest catalysts in the league. The talk this pasts summer is how much of a contender the team really is in a loaded Western Conference and everyone has been waiting to see what he and Paul George can do on the court together. Not to mention the defense that will be swarming from the rest of the squad.

Though PG13 is currently hurt and out for the next month or so, The Klaw made his preseason debut for the Clips last night against the Denver Nuggets.

He didn’t play much but in the little time he was on the court, he scored 9 points and dished out 6 assists. He was running pick and roll, setting teammates up who were cutting to the hoop and making step-back jumpers from distance.

After the game, Leonard said he was feeling a little rusty:

Either way, the Clippers should be one of the more interesting teams to watch this season and Kawhi is one of the reasons they are in the running for a title.
