It was media day for the Brooklyn Nets and their two big offseason signings were in the building to talk about their moves. Both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving spoke on becoming teammates, how that came about and what to expect from the two and the franchise moving forward.
In speaking to reporters, KD broke down that he is on the same page as the organization and won’t play next season, the chances of the Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors landing his services in the summer, why he wanted to play in Brooklyn and which is the “team to beat” this NBA offseason.
Irving also talked about his move from the Boston Celtics, his 4am talk with Durant that convinced them to come to New York and his injury.
Watch what they had to say in their press conference up top.
