Kevin Durant to New York Knicks Is A “Done Deal” According to Reports

This entire season, people have been speculating whether or not Kevin Durant would be leaving the Golden State Warriors after winning a few championships. Reports have been coming out all year concerning his free agency, especially after his Draymond Green blow-up and the All-Star game when he was talking to Kyrie Irving all weekend.

Across the basketball world, it has been a foregone conclusion he’s headed to the New York Knicks after the season to join the young core with Kyrie. Some have even mentioned the fact that he should pick the Los Angeles Clippers.

Esteemed write Ric Bucher was on The Herd with Colin Cowherd to talk about this exact topic and he had some interesting things to say.

According to Bucher, it’s pretty much a “done deal” that KD is going to New York to play with the Knicks and his reasoning for doing so is compelling. Apparently, Durant has never felt revered in Oakland, which is why he wants to go to the Big Apple because if he takes the team to the playoffs, he will be beloved by the tri-state.

Do you think Kevin actually leaves his championship situation to head East?
