Kevin Durant Still Believes He’s the Best NBA Player

Is KD Trey 5 right in his claims of best player?

Just 6 months ago when Russell Westbrook was going on a career run of consecutive triple doubles (only done previously by the greatest player of all time, Michael Jordan), we were questioning whether he was not only the best player on his team – but the entire NBA.

The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered from injury issues yet again last May, as Westbrook emerged as arguably the league’s best overall player. However, Kevin Durant is finally recovered from his foot injury, which limited him to just 27 games last after the 2014 MVP achievement a year prior.

During a promotional tour with Nike through Europe, the lengthy wing-man told fans in Spain that he still believes there’s no better player on the hardwood than him on earth. Kevin went to say “I’m still the best player in the world,” raising a few eye brows and an uproar of social media.

Let us know in the comments if you think Durant should still feel he’s the best overall player or has that reign went to someone else since his season-ending injury.
