You’re still the best player in the world 🙃
Following Monday night’s blowout victory in Brooklyn, Jay Williams shared some insider intel that shouldn’t have went public. On ESPN, Jay shared a story on a conversation he had one time with Kevin Durant, saying “Don’t you ever compare me to Giannis.” Well, KD immediately shut those claims, calling the story a ‘Fucking Lie.”
Many believed that the situation would never be addressed, but Jay Williams doubled-down on ESPN this morning. Jay said he’s standing by what he presented to the public, which Durant hasn’t responded him just yet. Considering the Nets have a game in Milwaukee on Thursday, any added motivation for the Greek isn’t something Brooklyn needs.
Now, why do we believe there may be some truth about Kevin Durant on this? Simple, he called Kawhi Leonard a system player, publicly. In the very first video below, he opened up about preferring Paul George over Kawhi Leonard, which is blasphemous. Due to him playing with in the past with Greg Popovich, Durant believed Pop is the reason for his success at the time.
So, by him calling Kawhi a system player, Jay Williams story appears more believable about the best player in the world. Considering Kawhi won a championship on his own, he’ll be looking to repeat as champion, if they can get past the Utah Jazz. We’re just hopeful it’s against the Brooklyn Nets, because that’s who we’re pulling for. Sorry, we’re not counting a pandemic Disney World ring for a quitter last year (how ya’ll enjoying summer LBJ fans?).
Take a look at media below.
Mans will do anything to advance their careers in this media shit, wanting to be accepted by an industry that will dispose of you whenever they please. Keep me out all that corny ass talk about whos better and legacy and all that dumb ass shit. I don’t even talk like that
