The New York Knicks aren’t contending for a championship or anything, but fans have been hopeful lately. With Kristaps Porzingis leading the young squad, the team has playoff aspirations and could possibly do it. Currently, they sit at the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference, only two games back of the eighth seeded Philadelphia 76ers.
Those dreams and hopes could be crashing down if this Porzingis injury is serious.
Tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks, he went for a highlight reel of a dunk against Giannis Antetokounmpo and landed awkwardly on his knee. He immediately clutched for it, ultimately being helped to the locker room by his teammates.
Kristaps is able to put weight on his left leg as he heads for MRI.
