This afternoon, the Los Angeles Clippers introduced the newest members of their squad and the energy was high. Especially from owner Steve Ballmer.
After several executives and Ballmer said their words, both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard went up to the podium to speak on the move to the Clippers and what it means to them. Both thanked their previous organizations, and it was interesting that Leonard thanked the city of Toronto, the fans more than the Raptors franchise. He still acknowledged that it was a great situation from the start, but he’s glad to be playing in his hometown of L.A.
Later on the two took questions about the move, player empowerment, how much they appreciate playing close to their families and more.
