The King is staying for at least one more season!

Today, nearly a million fans are out in the streets of Cleveland to witness their NBA Championship with LeBron James and the rest of the Cavaliers. However, while the team and its fans may be enjoying this title for the next few weeks, the King went to address many rumors of him leaving this off-season. The 31-year-old future Hall-of-Famer is set to become an unrestricted free agent next Wednesday and is expected to decline his $24 million player option.

However, with the salary cap increasing in a few days to $94 million, James could make more than $30 million next season with a new contract. As rumors have been circulating whether or not he’s really moving to Los Angles or returning to the Miami Heat, he went to clear all indication that he’s leaving Ohio this summer. LeBron went to say, “I love it here. I love being here. I love my teammates. Obviously my agent will take care of all the logistical things but, I’m happy. I’ve got no plans to go nowhere at this point. This is the happiest time in my life right now.”

Now that the King has become immortalized in Cleveland, he intends to be in a Cavlierss jersey for their ring ceremony, as well as defending the title it took him 13 years to win in his home town.
