LeBron James Named AP’s “Athlete of the Decade”

While there have been more successful teams in the NBA during the span of 2010-2020, there has not been a more polarizing figure in the NBA than LeBron James.

From leaving his hometown of Cleveland to the stunning beaches of Miami to form like Voltron with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh and win his first championships, then going back home to Ohio and bringing a title to the city, then switching coasts by joining a rebuilding Los Angeles Lakers squad, it’s been quite the journey for ‘Bron ‘Bron.

That’s why the Associated Press has named him Athlete of the Decade as a “runaway winner” beating out Tom Brady, who came as runner-up.

LeBron James has completely dominated the sports world over the last ten years. The AP says he was a “runaway winner” in the vote, beating out runner-up Tom Brady.
