LeBron James Speaks On Passing Michael Jordan As Leading Scorer In Postseason History

“I Didn’t go bald like Mike, but I’m getting there!”

On Thursday night, LeBron James passed Michael Jordan as the all-time leading scorer in postseason history. Obviously, this is a huge achievement, not just for LBJ, but for the NBA history books.

After clinching their ticket to the NBA Finals, James spoke on what the new record means to him, saying that he did it just being him. Growing up, he said he looked at Mike as a god and never thought he’d even be in the conversation with one of the greats. He can’t even believe he’d be in those types of debates with Jordan, especially after doing everything like him. He wanted to be him growing up.

Big ups to LeBron for the achievement and cementing his name as one of the all-time greatest players to step on the court. Whether he’s the G.O.A.T. is another discussion. But he’s up there.
