LeBron James Was Taking Shots at Phil Jackson with Dennis Smith Jr. Comments

We all know Lebron James and Phil Jackson are not in the best of terms thanks to those Zen-Master “posse” comments from a while back, but the beef is still on going.

The other day, King James said the New York Knicks passed on a “diamond in the rough” in Dennis Smith Jr. in favor or Frank Ntilikina this past draft. He didn’t understand why, but said the Dallas Mavericks got lucky with him.

Most speculated that it was a shot at Phil and today, James confirmed it emphatically, with a smile on his face.

He said he was watching the draft and thought the Knicks needed a point guard, so it was a no-brainer to draft him, or so he perceived. LeBron also mentioned he was not taking shots at young Frank and was just thinking of Smith’s talent, the needs of the team and Kristaps Porzingis.

The Cleveland Cavaliers face the Knicks tonight at Madison Square Garden and he’s been having fun on the subway with some of his teammates while in the tri-state.
