Marshawn Lynch to Sign 2-Year Deal with Oakland Raiders

Beast Mode is finally out of retirement.

The Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders have agreed to terms to trade Marshawn Lynch, after speculation came about that he might join the New England Patriots and with other interested teams looming. According to sources, his new contract will be a two-year deal, with details still surfacing pending a physical.

Lynch retired in 2015 and took a year off from the game, but his hometown team kept calling.

After the Raiders lost Latavius Murray to the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland had to plug the hole at running back and they have found their man in Marshawn. He is planning to be with the team for the next few years, right before the organization leaves for Las Vegas.

The only question upon his return is whether or not he’s still the same Beast Mode that played for the Seahawks and if he can stay healthy once he returns.

UPDATE 2: If you’re in Oakland today, David Carr, Michael B. Jordan, E-40 and some Golden State Warriors players will be in attendance for the block party, which will go down in the blocks around his Beast Mode Apparel store in downtown.
