EXCLUSIVE: Miami Heat Are Planning to Trade Goran Dragić to This Team

Clearing up immediate cap space for ?

It looks like the Dallas Mavericks have become a destination for many NBA players this year, thanks to stars Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. Many players have been vocal about wanting to play with both stars, as well as team owner, Mark Cuban.

However, the Miami Heat are looking to ship out Goran Dragić, who’s on the last year an expiring max-deal. We’ve been told that Dallas is aggressively looking to land Dragić, as Pat Riley has plans to clear out cap space and land somebody major before the trade deadline.

With Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro being given the keys to the team this season, Dragić and now James Johnson have been on the block. We’re not sure who the Mavericks will send back, but we’re not expecting Miami to retain anything serious – outside of money, a role player and maybe a future second-round pick.

They’re doing this move strictly to clear cap space and pair somebody up with Jimmy Butler, for a run in the wide-open east. Let us know in the comments what you think of the possible new look Mavericks.
