Run it. . .
Since trading Kawhi Leonard for DeMar Derozan last year, the experience hasn’t gone as planned. So far this season, the Spurs have found themselves in unfamiliar territory, as it’s likely the team won’t make the playoffs under Gregg Popovich.
With lack of personnel on the team, ESPN reported that the Miami Heat are looking to land both DeMar and LaMarcus Aldridge. Pat Riley, who’s been high on both players, are looking to pair them up with Jimmy Butler, as they both have expiring contracts after the 2021 season.
However, San Antonio will be looking to get either Kendrick Nunn or Tyler Herro – two beloved rookies for Miami this year. Both Derozan and Aldridge are still looking to win a championship, after witnessing peers hoist the Larry O’Brien in recent years.
