Michael Jordan Defends LeBron James after President Trump Controversy

Jordan has a WWE character turn

It’s no secret that LeBron James and Michael Jordan haven’t been fond of each other personally (see: LeBron speaking out on the cancelled Charlotte NBA All-Star Game). However, some eye-raising events have happened over the last 72 hours, starting with an interview on CNN.

Dating back to last summer, when Steph Curry and Golden State declined a White House invitation from President Donald Trump – many came out and supported Dub Nation. Trump felt slighted by the action and issued a public response to Mr. Curry, withdrawing his invitation.

Well, this caused LeBron to speak out for his on-court rival and fellow ambassador of the league, calling the President a bum. This week, King James sat down with Don Lemon to discuss his recently launched I Promise School to help youth beginning in his hometown of Akron.

LeBron also spoke on his comments on Trump, which led to Donald responding on social media calling James stupid. After several players came to support and aid of James on social media, Michael Jordan surprisingly came out to LeBron’s defense. Take a look at media below.
