Jordan hasn’t lost passion for the game with move to sidelines
This Wednesday, the Charlotte Hornets open their 2015 season against the Milwaukee Bucks. Team owner and hall-of-famer, Michael Jordan sat down with ESPN’s Darren Rovell for a Sports Center conversation on how he’s been able to transition from the court to the executive offices. During his four year tenure with the team, they’ve encountered the worst win-loss ratio in the history of the NBA; but made strides last year making the NBA Playoffs. The team also made a key free agent signing last summer, landing rising star Lance Stepehson to compliment Al Jefferson, Kemba Walker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (still confused why the star rating on NBA 2K15).
During the interview, a passionate Jordan opened up how important it is to win an NBA title and cited it’ll be more cherishing than all of his previous 6 rings combined – due to its difficulty. Whether Jordan can make this team a legitimate championship contender remains to be seen, but the core nucleus they have now is intriguing to build for the future moving forward.
