Remember a few months ago, when I boldly predicted the Milwaukee Bucks would be the greatest threat in preventing a fourth consecutive Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors NBA Finals? (I’m going to keep mentioning this all season until it happens.)
Well, the Bucks made a power move today, in acquiring disgruntled star point guard, Eric Bledsoe, from the Phoenix Suns. Following the firing on Earl Watson and an 0-3 start, Bledsoe was sent home nearly three weeks ago by the team’s front office for saying, “I don’t want to be here anymore.”
After taking some time to field offers, Phoenix got the best deal they could for Eric, landing center Greg Monroe, a 2018 protected first-round and a 2018 protected second-round draft pick.
He now joins a back-court with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton; which he’ll takeg some of the minutes from 2017 rookie-of-year-guard Malcom Brogdon. With Jabari Parker set to return to the team next spring, we have high hopes on this squad making a deep playing push.
Put some respek on it, though.
Sources: Suns, Bucks have agreed in principle to trade Eric Bledsoe for Greg Monroe and protected 2018 first-round and second-round picks.

Sources: First-round pick protection: 2018: Suns get Bucks pick between 11-to-16. 2019: 4-to-16. 2020: 8 to 30. 2021: Unprotected.

Sources: The Suns get Bucks 2018 second-round pick if it lands 48 to 60 in draft. That pick doesn't carry into 2019, if Bucks keep it in 18.
