Must See NFL Sunday 2014: Week 2

NFL: Buffalo Bills at Cincinnati Bengals

Atlanta at Cincinnati
Time: 1:00 PM (ET)
Network: CBS

Last weekend, the Atlanta Falcons were on the verge of being blowout at home by the New Orleans Saints; but the team rallied in the 2nd half, led by Matt Ryan’s 448 yards (career high) and three touchdowns to pull off an upset. There’s much pressure on head coach Mike Smith and their QB this year, as they’re looking to continue pursuit to back to the discussions in the NFC.

They’re opponent today, the Cincinnati Bengals also had a victory in week one on the road against the Baltimore Ravens. Even with Joe Flacco showing pure dominance in the 2nd half in the Ravens rally effort for 15 straight points, an A.J. Green late touchdown saved their day. Today, we’re picking Cincinnati to win at home simply due to their roster and the questions we have surrounding their defense.

Even with Bengals tight-end Tyler Eifert out on IR for an elbow injury, we’re still siding with them due to Giovani Bernard and A.J. Green being unstoppable thus far in the season. Atlanta’s still looking to build momentum heading forward with aspirations of being legit completion in the NFC South, and a win here would put the rest of the NFC on notice.

FINAL: CIN 24 | ATL 10
