EXCLUSIVE: New York Knicks Working on Russell Westbrook Eye-Raising Trade

This weekend, many rumors are floating around the NBA world, as we’ve come across some eye-raising intel. Following this morning’s blockbuster trade for Kawhi Leonard, where OKC was given four unprotected first-round picks, the Thunder are trying to go young.

After landing their point-guard of the future in Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder are currently working this weekend grant Westbrook his wishes. Following the news leak of his name being brought up in the Toronto Raptors trade last night, he has been granted a trade request from OKC.

With the Knickerbockers having major cap room flexibility, they’re looking to pair up Westbrook and guide RJ Barrett into becoming a star. New York is allegedly set to trade Kevin Knox and Frank Ntilikina to OKC, in exchange for the star point guard.

We have to commend the Thunder for doing right by their face of the franchise, as both sides have the up most respect for each other.

In related news, the Houston Rockets were also allegedly on the cusp of landing Westbrook this week. However, CP3 unwilling to move to OKC shut down any progress on the trade last second.
