And somehow Sasha Vujacic still has a roster spot at the Garden. . .

After missing the majority of the 2017 season, the New York Knicks officially ruled Joakim Noah out for the remainder of the season. Alongside Derrick Rose, the veteran defensive big man joined the Knicks over the summer, with hopes of providing Carmelo Anthony some help at the Garden.

However, with limited play stretches and old age catching up to the 10-year player, he underwent an arthroscopic procedure earlier today, to remove a loose body from his left knee.

Last July, he inked a whopping four-year, $72 million deal, which was one of Phil Jackson’s more questionable moves in his tenure as team president. It’s unlikely that Noah would agree to any buyout, as New York could waive Joakim and just pay him off the books. The team also announced that they waived Brandon Jennings, who’s surprisingly being pursued by a variety of teams.

Most likely, he’ll end up with the Washington Wizards, serving back up to John Wall – and assuming the 6th man role in a better offense. Let us know below what you think the Knicks should with Noah.
