Paul George Declines on Committing to Indiana after Series Loss to Cleveland

LAX Bound summer seventeen. . . .

On Thursday evening, the Indiana Pacers were on the verge of winning their first playoff game for the 2017 post-season; but somehow managed to cough up a 26-point lead. Led by LeBron James, the team overcame the biggest post-season comeback in league history – as many began to speculate a sweep was near. With limited role player support, Paul George was on an island alone and watched his Indiana Pacers fold for a game four loss Sunday afternoon at home.

Just three years ago, the Pacers were going to conference finals, where many believed they were the third best team in the league. However, with Larry Bird firing Frank Vogel and ridding away the entire roster with the exception of him; PG-13 hasn’t been the happiest player in the league.

At the start of the year, we even hand-picked Indiana to be the biggest threat to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference; but team chemistry and new coaching hindered them from reaching full potential. Following the loss, Paul sat down for possibly his final post-game interview as a member of the Pacers. Before the 26-year-old left the podium, he was asked whether or not he wants to say in Indiana. George went to say, “I ain’t even at that point yet, Bob. Next question.”

Well, it’s been rumored that PG has been inquiring about returning home to Los Angeles and play for the Lakers next season. With LA having cap room and youth for collateral, we’re sure Magic Johnson will be making a few phone calls to his former rival on possible off-season trades. Let us know in the comments below if you think Paul George will be a member of the Pacers next fall.
