Paul George Is Recruiting Klay Thompson To Join Him in Los Angeles

The hottest player in the NBA right now, in terms of offseason headlines is certainly Paul George. Will the Indiana Pacers trade him? Is he going to Cleveland to join LeBron James and get a championship, possibly derailing the Los Angeles Lakers plans to bring him to his hometown? Will the Boston Celtics part with some draft picks to bring PG13 in to give the Cavaliers a run for their Eastern Conference supremacy money?

Every day, another report surfaces about what Paul is doing or not doing or what team is interested in bringing him in. It’s hard to keep up at this point.

Interestingly enough, though, in the event that PG13 actually lands in L.A., he is already recruiting players to join him and make a run in the Western Conference. Apparently, he hit up Klay Thompson to consider going south when his contract runs out after the 2018-2019 season.

This news is intriguing because after the Golden State Warriors lock up Steph Curry and Kevin Durant to max deals, they will be all out of cap space and after this past NBA post season, it seems like Klay might be the most expendable Warriors from the current team.

How much should we believe 95.7 The Game, though?
