Ravens LB, Ray Lewis To Return In December

Seizing The Moment? Ravens All In For 2013 Playoff Run.

After tearing his triceps last month against the Dallas Cowboys, initially many in the sports world all thought Ray Lewis was done for the season with various outlets suggesting the future hall-of-famer should retire. Sources within the Lewis camp have said he’s been aggressively treating his injury with platelet-rich plasma therapy with an imminent return to team practice set for as early as this Thursday.

The Ravens have managed to maintain a top seed in the AFC as they’re currently behind the Texans (10-1) at 9-2. They’ve went on to win four consecutive games against mediocre teams as they play the Steelers this Sunday at home before their rough three-game stretch against the Giants, Broncos and Redskins.

Many are believing Ray Lewis playing will only hinder the Ravens defense as with Terrell Suggs who’s returned to action after tearing his ACL last April, has been returning back to form with 17 tackles already in only 5 games. In my opinion, if this team happens to play injury free from here on out they could possibly be a dark horse this year to win it all in a questionable AFC and an inconsistent NFC.
