HOLD ME BACK!!
Today’s Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls game was bigger for the Bulls than the Raptors. Chicago is trying to make that eighth spot in the playoffs, while Toronto is trailing behind the Washington Wizards for that third spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Bulls looked like they had this one pretty much wrapped up, leading by as much as 17 points, but things quickly changed around the time this fight happened.
Robin Lopez and Serge Ibaka got into a scuffle after Ibaka elbowed Lopez in the back and he reacted. Next thing you know, refs and players were holding both back as the two exchanged blows. Neither connected dead on, but they both got kicked out of the game.
Suspensions will follow.
As far as the game is concerned, the Bulls allowed the Raptors to get back into it and took it to overtime, where Toronto sealed the victory.
