Ronda Rousey Knocks Out Bethe Correia in 34 Seconds at UFC 190

Can we get the Cris Cyborg fight next, though?

To say Ronda Rousey has been dominant in the UFC ring would be an understatement. In her last four fights combined, they’ve lasted a grand total of only 130 seconds. Over the week, she was engaged in a public war of words with her opponent tonight, Bethe Correia, in preparations for the octagon affair. Things went so far, Correia mentioned Rousey’s late father, who passed some time ago from suicide during her childhood.

This was ultimate motivation she needed to give fans another jaw-dropping event and walked out to the ring in a Mike Tyson-esque state of mind. With her usual no smiles and the Brazilian crowd eventually switching sides from the hometown hero Bethe, Rousey would come out and land a fury of punches on her opponent.

While Correia was able to connect with a few shots, one slip and tumble into the cage allowed Ronda to capitalize with power punches to the dome, and one for good measure while she was falling for the T.K.O. The 28-year-old actor-fighter now improves to 12-0 in UFC, as people are already calling for the imminent Cris Cyborg bout.

At the present, Miesha Tate is likely next in line to challenge Rousey for the Bantanweight Championship; but we’re not sure if a third outing would be something fans of the MMA world want to see.
