SHAQ Opens Up About Kobe Bryant’s Death in Heartfelt Tribute on TNT

There were many people close to Kobe Bryant and many are emotional about his tragic passing in a helicopter crash this past Sunday. During a tribute to the Black Mamba on TNT (after the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers game was postponed), SHAQ spoke about his grief and how he felt upon hearing the news of his death.

In a very raw and heartfelt interview, the Big Diesel revealed that the last time he spoke to Kobe was at his last game when he dropped 60 on the Utah Jazz.

He had tears falling down his eyes when he said they would never joke about the amount of rings they both got or how he won’t get to see him at the Hall Of Fame ceremony. From tragedy, SHAQ says he is now learning to take the time to call the people he loves because once they’re gone, they’re gone forever and he wishes he could talk to Bryant just one more time.

Watch the emotional interview on TNT above as well as Dwayne Wade and Derek Fisher speak about the Black Mamba and how he impacted their lives.
