Stephen Curry on The Dan Patrick Show
Yesterday, Stephen Curry called into The Dan Patrick Show to discuss his plan’s for this weekend’s Super Bowl 50 game. While the big game is expected to be in his backyard of the Bay Area, Curry opened up on rooting for his friend Cam Newton and admiration on how the Carolina quarterback is handling himself with touchdown celebration criticism.
Dan managed to slide in a few basketball questions, including why Steve Kerr recently broke a clipboard over the team under-performing in a game they weren’t taking serious and Michael Jordan comparisons. At the moment, Curry’s averaging a league’s best 29 points-per-game and is resting on the bench most of the fourth quarter. However, when asked about the comparisons to his royal airness, Curry shied away from being mentioned in the same league as the goat.
