Terrell Owens & Chad Johnson Debate Destroying Their Teams with Skip Bayless

Terrell and Chad visit First Take

Earlier today, NFL exiled legends Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson made a stop to ESPN’s First Take to discuss their unfortunate exits from the game. While both players maintained a squeaky clean record off-the-field (for the most part), their criticism came internally with some former teammates, coaches and critics calling them out allegedly bringing a deteriorating mindset to locker rooms.

Respectfully, Skip Bayless, who’s openly supported both players and even being targeted for doing so, grilled both players in the sit-down. From having a fallout with Jeff Garcia with the San Francisco 49ers, followed by one of the most disappointments ever with Donovan McNabb and Andy Reid on the Philadelphia Eagles; he took some blame for those situations, but explained his actions.

Without a doubt, Owens should’ve been a first-ballot to the Hall-of-Fame class last weekend, but he was a few votes short from making the final cut. Johnson also chimed in on time with his former teammate and went to praise his work ethic, during their time with the Bengals in 2010.

Take a look at the nearly 30-minute conversation, for two greats who didn’t get a proper story ending to their careers. Let us know in the comments if you think both are first-ballot worthy.

This seriously makes us want to find our PS2, and play the greatest sports game of all time.
