March Madness is officially upon us and the 2016 NCAA Tournament bracket is out. Earlier today, the committee unveiled the seedings for each of the teams in the dance for Election Sunday and like always, you have your share of snubs and controversy as a result.

The No. 1 seeds are no shock, with the Big 12, Pac 12 and ACC representing at the top: Kansas, Oregon, North Carolina and Virginia.

Where the bracket starts getting shaky is at the bottom, where mid-majors failed to lock down at-large bids in favor of bigger schools from bigger conferences. Schools like Monmouth, St. Mary’s, and San Diego State were left out in the cold, meanwhile Wichita State, Michigan and Tulsa happened to sneak into the tournament — granted, out in Dayton for the First Four games.

Also, as you can see in the video below, Coach Calipari has a few words for the committee after they seeded the Wildcats at No. 4, when they defeated Texas A&M in the conference title game. He argued that the games that went on today really had no difference in the seedings because it seemed like they had already chosen the field before today, regardless of the outcomes.

The first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament starts on March 17, with the First Four games kicking off in Dayton on March 15 and 16. Take a look at full seedings below. Who is your favorite?
