The Warriors Reveal Kevin Durant’s Return Date

Back This Saturday. . .

Since Kevin Durant’s bizarre leg injury last February, the Golden State Warriors have improved their internal structure for the season – with Steph Curry returning to MVP form.

While the former champs have only had three months of on-court action with their big summer sixteen acquisition, Steve Kerr is looking to insert him back into the lineup, exactly one week before the NBA Playoffs begin. Today, the team issued a statement, revealing that Kevin is scheduled to return Saturday night, for their home game against the New Orleans Pelicans.

With his sprained MCL and bruised tibia progressing significantly better last month, he was able to participate in regular practice and scrimmages with fellow teammates. The Warriors have all but solidified their home-court stay for the entire playoffs, as they just need a few more victories to secure the bid. However, with their season coming to an end in less than 10 days, they still need to get him ready for a potential first-round meeting against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Luckily, like we previously stated, Curry looks to be playoff-ready and returned to his MVP form immediately – and this in our opinion is why they will hoist the Larry O’Brien Trophy in June. Let us know below in the comments if you expect Dub Nation to snatch their fifth franchise title.
