EXCLUSIVE: The Three Team Trade Miami, OKC & Washington Are Working on for Chris Paul

Cp3 to miami near. . .

It’s looking like Chris Paul is heading to the Miami Heat in the near future; as Pat Riley is facilitating a new three-team deal that will bring him to South Beach. Originally, insiders were expecting Bradley Beal to pair up with Jimmy Butler on the Heat; but Miami has been reluctant to take the contract of John Wall.

However, we’ve also been told that the Heat is also against bringing in Beal, as they feel he’s essentially the same player as Butler on offense. So, a three-team deal is being constructed with CP3 going to Miami, Bradley Beal going to OKC and Goran Dragić (with other assets) going to Washington.

We don’t expect the trade to happen before the start of the season; but this will likely be a move that happens right before or on trade deadline day. We’re not sure why teams would want this to continue into the regular season, but Washington is desperately trying to convince Beal to sign a new max-deal.

He’s been reluctant to agree to terms with the team, but our suggestion would be get paid before this next lockout that’s going to happen.

Trade Breakdown:

Heat: Chris Paul + his contract
OKC: Bradley Beal + picks
WIZ: Goran Dragić + additional players
