The Birdman says this might be his last ‘900’ ever.
Exactly 17 years ago to the date, Tony Hawk made history at the 1999 X-Games, when he completed the first ever 900-degree rotation on a skateboard. Prior to the event, no one had ever landed a 900, but the Birdman was on a mission to give San Francisco a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Yesterday, Hawk met up with RIDE Channel to see if he could still pull off the previously impossible trick and much like his run from last decade – there were a few slip ups in the process. However, watch above, as Tony says this might be his last time ever attempting the move on his board.
